In DVB-SI, one is allowed to deliver private data in a legal SI stream – and the Private_Data_Specifier_Descriptor is used to signal the private data and the origins of the private data. Private data is an important part of SI, and being able correctly identify its origins is also important.


Key Fields
"Private_Data_Specifier_Organisation" - Name of the organisation which is responsible for delivering private data in SI streams, e.g “ACME, Inc.”
